Why the PINK?
Well, here’s why…
In early January 2010, one of our FPFamily members found a lump in her breast. It turned out to be cancer. The whole process has been mentally and physically draining on the entire family.
This isn’t the first time someone in the FPFamily has had cancer, male or female. And if there has ever been a sign to get more involved, now is definitely the time.
We’ve started our research process in trying to find a way to contribute to the cause. There are a lot of organizations out there that do so many great things to help find a cure. The process of finding one that we think will work best with us is long and strenuous. It’s been really tough to pick just one, so after a lot of thought and conversation, we’re kind of leaning toward starting one of our own.
Creating something from scratch is harder than we thought…not impossible...just a bit more work than usual. So in the meantime, we’ve created the PINK link to serve as a reminder of our commitment to the process.
